The noughties’ favourite pop-punk trio will top the bill of Bristol’s exuberant LGBT+ celebrations, when they take over Millennium Square tomorrow (Saturday 8th July). Union J, Jennifer Paige and Sonia will also perform.

The boys are back in town!

Busted, the resurgent pop-punk holy trinity, are back in the charts and back in Bristol, making a welcome return to the city this July to headline Pride Day. The fluorescent celebration of the city's LGBT+ community will take place in Millennium Square tomorrow (Saturday 8th July), with the noughties favourites trio heading up the festival’s musical entertainment.

Their set will mark the first Bristol appearance for the trio since their triumphant sold-out show at the O2 Academy in February.

Also performing at the bash are boyband Union J (above), Crush singer Jennifer Paige, Sonia, Saaro Aalto from The X Factor and finalist from The Voice, Jordan Gray.

And the fun doesn’t stop there, with after-parties taken care of by the likes of Horse Meat Disco, Don’t Tell Your Mother and Alison Limerick, who are throwing it back to the heady days of disco in 1970s New York, where experimentation ran rife and acceptance was king.

Pride Day will mark the culmination of a series of events taking place in Bristol to raise awareness for the LGBT+ community, running between the 30th June and the 9th July.

Pride Day supporter wristbands are available at £5 for the day, or £15 with after-party entry included. Get your hands on yours here. For more information about the Pride series, click here.
