Bristol ranked in the top 25 cities in the world

Posted on: 19 Apr 2017

The listing, compiled by online housing platform Nestpick, ranks the top 100 cities in the world based on how they appeal to millennials, with Bristol placing third nationally.

Bristol has been placed at 25th on Nestpick’s list of the 100 best cities worldwide for millennials to live in or visit.

The standings were compiled by the online housing platform based on over a dozen criteria supposed important to millennials, including availability of housing, gender equality and, of course, the price of beer.

Bristol was noted for the availability of contraception and its Apple Store ranking, while also scoring highly for its nightlife and its LGBT friendliness. Nationally, Bristol (contrary to the findings of The Times in March) came third behind London and Manchester, which placed in 16th and 21st respectively.

The global list was topped by Amsterdam, with Berlin in second place and Munich completing the top three.
