Beloved Stokes Croft-based radio station Noods Radio have today announced Bloom, a fresh Artist Development programme.

Bloom is a ten-month artist development programme that will nurture three artists through masterclasses, mentorship, studio time, a music video, press photos and live shows to cement their creative ambitions.

Applications for the programme are open now and must be completed by Sunday 25 February 2024 - apply HERE.

Noods have made an open call to artists from all over the South-West with the aim of incubating three promising sonic pioneers across ten months, allowing them to hone their craft and further sculpt their creative vision.

Throughout this year-long programme, Noods will work alongside each artist to develop their talent, offering assistance with understanding the music industry and working to increase their visibility, providing a helpful network of industry connections.

Each artist will have access to monthly studio time, mentors and masterclasses as well as a budget to curate their own live showcase, create an original music video and get a professional press shot, thus equipping them with all the tools needed to build a sustainable music career.

Whether you’re a producer, an instrumentalist, a solo artist, a composer or in a band, you will be able to apply for this exciting opportunity. Applicants must have an active musical practice, be based in the South-West and be able to commit to at least 20 hours a month throughout the programme to develop their practice.

Since launching back in 2015, Noods has served as a vital community hub for Bristol’s independent arts scene, supporting a diverse range of underground music. The independent station has featured the likes of Mica Levi, Geoff Barrow, Iglooghost, Batu and more and broadcasts 24/7 online and via DAB. Listen, here.

Applications for Noods’ ‘Bloom’ new artist development programme are open now and must be completed by Sunday 25 February 2024 - apply HERE.
