Posted on: 21 Apr 2017

The amazing RSPCA Bristol Dogs and Cats Home will open its doors to the public for a special one-off event on Sunday 21st May 2017 from 10:30am until 3pm. All ages are welcome to enjoy tours, stalls, talks, games and much more. The best part? It's all for a great cause.

This event will give you the chance to see exactly what goes in to running the centre that offers almost superhuman levels of compassion for all the animals that call it home and pass through its doors. You'll get a unique insight into the work done at the Home and Clinic. This day is perfect for people of all ages and families are positively welcomed.

Volunteers are still needed for the day so if you think you could lend a hand then please contact grace@rspca-bristol.org.uk

The Bristol and District RSPCA branch is a local charity, independent from the national charity, and provides services to the local community. It is a wonderful and truly vital service we should be rightly proud of in our city. It takes upwards of £1.7million per year to keep the Bristol Cats & Dogs home open and caring for all the pups and other guys that need a little extra help from us humans. All this comes from donations. An astounding amount of money but one that is raised each and every year thanks to the incredible work put in by the staff and numerous volunteers. They aim to rehome all their ‘tenants’ and care greatly for them in the meantime.
