Blue Host Christmas Lights Switch-on at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol
Posted on: 11 Nov 2015On Thursday 12 November 2015, pop superstars Blue will host the Christmas lights switch-on event at Cribbs Causeway. This is always a massive hit in the city and this year’s event promises to be no different.
With doors opening at 4pm, the event itself kicks off at 5:45pm and will run until around 7:30pm. Tickets for this event are allocated daily on a first come-first served basis and available from the main information desk at The Mall itself, just pop in and pick some up! Tickets are given out in exchange for a donation (suggested as £2) with all funds going to The Grand Appeal – The Mall hopes to raise over £20,000 for this great charity.
In 2014 Union J were the performers and the event was a huge success. Attendees of all ages were treated to a great evening of entertainment before the stunning lights themselves were switched on. Check out the video montage of last year’s event below for a taste of what you can expect!
Don't forget - from 11am until 2pm on Sunday 15 November there will be a Christmas parade with Santa Claus and his reindeer at the same spot just outside The Mall. No tickets are required, just turn up and enjoy! He will be joined by characters from Alice in Wonderland thanks to the excellent Bristol & North Somerset Mascots.
