Wine. What better way to start your well-deserved, three-day Bank Holiday weekend, eh? Thank goodness for Averys then, those estimable purveyors of the finest quality fermented grape juice, who will be hosting a very special event, Beginners Guide to Wine Tasting (in collaboration with Crush Wine Weekend) on Saturday 5th May 2018.

From 2pm to 4pm, Averys' historic vaulted cellars will the location for this unique wine tasting. You'll get a round-the-world trip sampling 6 of the globe's most delicious wines, all specially chosen to help you understand its complexities and flavours and educate your palate, while a wine expert will be on hand to explain how various climates, grape varieties and wine making techniques affect and alter the taste of particular wines.

Throughout this seated, tutored tasting - designed for all levels of wine-sipping enthusiasts - there will also be plenty of bread, cheeses and pate to accompany the wines. There will also be special discounts available on all the wines sampled, and free delivery for orders of 6 bottles or more.
