Antiques Roadshow at Aerospace Bristol on Thursday 17th May 2018
Posted on: 14 May 2018Clear out those cupboards and dust off that old china - BBC One's Antiques Roadshow is heading to the city at Aerospace Bristol for a day of filming on Thursday 17th May 2018.
Host Fiona Bruce will be joined by her regular team of experts to welcome you and give free advice and valuations. It doesn't matter if it's something that's been in the family for years or a bargain you just bought at the local charity shop last week, they'll be on hand to proffer their learned, expert opinion.
Who knows? You might even possess an artifact that's worth a couple of quid (though, ultimately being broadcast to millions, try to convincingly mask your inevitable disappointment if they tell you it's only worth 50p).
Quite fitting too that one of Auntie Beeb's most famous programmes is taking residence for a day at the home of one of Bristol's most famous aviation designs in the form of Concorde, in a museum that celebrates the links between the birth of aviation itself to the city's contribution to supersonic travel. Concorde Alpha Foxtrot - the last Concorde to be made and to fly - forms the centrepiece of the new attraction.
Doors for admission to Antiques Roadshow open at 9.30am and close at 4.30pm. Entry is free, everyone's welcome and you don't need to book tickets in advance.
