2015 Pretty Muddy 5K on Saturday 4 July on the Downs in Bristol
Posted on: 15 Jan 2015Help raise money for Cancer Research UK by taking part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K event on the Downs on Saturday 4 July 2015.
The route will be a reasonably flat course which will follow a circuit of the Downs and take in the iconic views of Avon Gorge and the Suspension Bridge. To make things interesting, a few extra challenges and obstacles will be thrown in.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for friends and family to cheer you on, as well as stalls and activities such as a food and drink, a bouncy castle, and face painting to keep everyone entertained. After the event you can always celebrate your achievement, chat with other participants, and hang around and have a picnic (unpredictable British weather permitting, of course).
The event is open to girls aged 13 and over and women only, with child entry (13-15 girls) costing £10 and adult entry £14.99. This covers the cost of organizing and running the event but does not count towards the total of your sponsorship.
It's a great opportunity to really make a difference and raise money for Cancer Research UK's life-changing work in a lively and fun atmosphere.
