#savefabric Event to Fill Out The Doghouse

Posted on: 18 Nov 2016

The latest in a series of events to save fabric comes to the Doghouse tomorrow (Saturday November 18th), a day after some good news arrives for the hallowed London nightclub...

After Islington Town Council's decision back in August to close the capital's most influential nightclub placed fabric's future firmly in the doghouse, it seemed apt to host an event in protest to this ruling in the Bristol venue of the same name.

Taking over The Doghouse, the bumoing bar in central Bristol, are Watercolour who are packing the place out with representatives of the city's finest dance music collectives. From Just Jack comes house mogul Dan Wild, who sits atop a bill propped up by SF's Jake Hodgkinson and the pair from Watercolour, Tristan Ferguson and Jake Skidmore.

The cause for which they campaign received a significant boost this morning, with the revelation that the nightclub's owners were in advanced, private talks with Islington Council and the Metropolitan Police to reopen.

If this is indeed the case, come and celebrate tomorrow night, when the afforementioned will be spinning long into the small hours.

Tickets (£5 before midnight, £7 thereafter) can be bought on the door. For more information visit the event's Facebook page.
