Introducing Bobby Child, a young banker living in New York City, who is completely under the thumb of his mother and controlling fiancée Irene. Bobby has one real ambition in life...to sing and dance! When Bobby is sent to the depths of Deadrock Nevada to close down the Gaiety Theatre, he begins a journey of self discovery, love and masquerade...particularly when stumbling across the fiesty Polly Baker, a young postmistress determined to save the Gaiety theatre and the only woman living in Deadrock. As Bobby and Polly's two worlds collide in their efforts to save the theatre and overcome all obstacles to win each other's affection, we also meet the glamorous dancing follies, gunslinging cowboys and of course, who could forget the eccentric Theatre extraordinaire- Bela Zangler!
