Don't miss the next Smiley Spaces Comedy Night at The Space in Keynsham this Friday

Posted on: 13 Feb 2019

Three comedy kings will take to the stage of The Space in Keynsham, Bristol for another great Smiley Spaces standup event on Friday 15th February 2019. Disseminating the mirth this time will be a trio of the UK and international circuit's top comedy performers: Tom Lucy, Alistair Barrie and Joe Rowntree - meaning you can kickstart your weekend with a plentiful supply of belly laughs and a big, cheesy smile on your face.

The Keynsham Comedy Club lineup for Friday 15th February.

One of the UK's youngest comedians, Tom Lucy has nevertheless already cut his comedy chops and has performed at some of the country's top clubs such as Up The Creek, Komedia and The Glee Club, and in the past few months alone he's supported such comedy heavyweights as Jack Whitehall, Kevin Bridges and Harry Hill. The future, as they say, is looking very bright for this burgeoning comedy talent.

Alistair Barrie is a member of The London Comedy Store's Cutting Edge Team, and has spread his chucklesome antics all over the world, performing at venues like New York's famous Comedy Cellar and garnering sell-out shows at Melbourne, Adelaide and Edinburgh comedy festivals.

With two UK tours of Brainiac Live under his belt, Joe Rowntree appeared in all six of the award-winning hit Sky 1 show Brainiac: Science Abuse and has recently recorded Dave's One Night Stand. He's a comedian, actor, writer and presenter on the ascendancy and who knows how to keep an audience entertained and the laughs flowing.

Friday nights are for chilling out and having some laughs, and this trilogy of top comedy talent is sure to tickle your funny bone. The venue has theatre-style seating and there's a licensed pop-up bar for a beverage or two.

Comedy shenanigans start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £11 plus booking fee in advance, or £14 on the door. Spaces are limited so it's advisable to book in advance and you can do that right here.

The Space is located at Keynsham Civic Centre, 5 Temple St, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 1HA.  Tel. 07732 949456 for more information.
