Urban Peregrines talk at Bristol Zoo Gardens on Friday 15th February 2019Posted on: 06 Feb 2019
Join peregrine falcon expert Ed Drewitt for an informative, illustrated talk about this fascinating bird of prey at Bristol Zoo Gardens on Friday 15th February 2019.
Ed has been studying peregrine falcons for the last 20 years so he knows a thing or two about their living patterns and habitats.
He'll dispense illuminating insights into exactly what makes them tick, along with fascinating analysis on why they're using our towns and cities and how, by studying their diet, we can find out more about them.
He's also carried out extensive colour-ringing studies and will reveal where the young peregrine falcons go when they finally fly the nest.
The venue is accessible to wheelchair users and there will be a hearing loop in place. The event runs from 7pm until 8pm. Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased by calling 0117 903 0609 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org

Jamie is a writer, blogger, journalist, critic, film fan, soundtrack nerd and all-round Bristolian good egg. He loves the music of Philip Glass, the art of Salvador Dali, the writings of Charles Bukowksi and Hunter S Thompson, the irreverence of Harry Hill, and the timeless, straw-chomping exuberance of The Wurzels. You can sometimes find him railing against a surging tide of passing cyclists, or gorging himself senseless on the Oriental delights of a Cosmos all-you-can-eat buffet.
