Baking Class for Children at Cooking It! on Saturday 9th February 2019
Posted on: 25 Jan 2019Kids can enjoy their own Bake-Off, Bristol-style, for a season of special baking classes at Cooking It! designed for the city's up-and-coming Mary Berrys and Paul Hollywoods, the first of which takes place on Saturday 9th February 2019.
Cooking is one of the most basic, fundamental survival skills of life, so what better way to get the city's youngsters interested in the joys and delights of making and baking their own sweet and savoury treats than with a class which will encourage and nurture their innate cooking and baking skills.
The 2-and-a-half-hour baking workshop will mainly focus on yummy sugary concoctions and will include making from scratch food such as doughnuts, biscuits, puddings, cakes and breads.
Under the expert tuition of those talented folk at Cooking It! - a cookery school which offers cooking classes for kids and adults - the young 'uns will be so enthused and motivated by the end of it all they'll be knocking up flans, quiches and cupcakes faster than you can say Delia Smith.
The course runs from 2pm to 4.30pm and is best suited to kids aged between 8 and 12 years. Other baking classes will take place on 9th March, 8th April, 15th April, 27th April, 18th May, 8th June and 13th July.
