A modern English country-pop duo made up of twin sisters Lizzy and Catherine, Ward Thomas have been tipped as "Britain's first country stars" and are looking to put a signature British twist on a genre dominated by American acts. Their second studio album, Cartwheels, released in 2016, became the first UK country album to reach number one in the UK Album Chart and has since been certified Silver.

The pair have tackled issues close to their hearts on their upcoming third album, Restless Minds, including pertinent observations on the social media phenomenon, the modern women's movement, truth, mental health and more. "We couldn't help but address social media and the subconscious competition it creates" Lizzy says. "There's a fake reality that everyone our age is falling for right now - 'scroll down! Look at my page! Look at my perfect life!'"

Having already released singles No Filter and Never Know to widespread critical acclaim, their upcoming album has been hotly anticipated up and down the country. Don't miss the chance to catch some brand-new album live as well as some of the best songs of Ward Thomas' previous projects, at Bristol's O2 Academy in February!

Tickets for Ward Thomas live at the O2 Academy Bristol on Thursday 28th February are on sale now and can be found here. For more information on Ward Thomas or to follow tour updates, visit their website or check out their Facebook page.
