Mary Queen of Scots at Everyman Cinema this week.

Starring Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, Focus) and Saoirse Ronan (Hanna, Attonement), Mary Queen of Scots explores the turbulent life of the charismatic Mary Stuart. Queen of France at 16 and widowed at 18, Mary defies pressure to remarry. Instead, she returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne.

But, as Scotland and England fall under the rule of Queen Elizabeth I, a rivalry develops between the two for power and love, and the two must decide how to juggle marriage and independence. Betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies within each court imperil both thrones - and change the course of history.

Bristol's Everyman Cinema is screening Mary Queen of Scots every day until Thursday 24th January, with three or more showings per day. Tickets are on sale now via Everyman's website, linked below - book yours now to avoid missing out!
