Two dance workshops - Home & Heart - will take place at Trinity Centre in Bristol on Saturday 12th January 2019.

Led by IGNiTE artist Ella Mesma, the separate classes will focus on different aspects of dance and movement techniques with the core focus of both designed to empower, open and heal.

HOME uses various improvisation techniques to unlock the power of movement language, utilizing the strengths of the bandhas and Pole of the Body. It incorporates contract/release, floorwork and body isolations, all danced to Latin and Afro House music.

Using a variety of contemporary and partner dance techniques, HEART's emphasis reinforces the idea of getting in touch with ourselves, communicating without words, group partner and one-to-one combinations, all danced to Electronic, Latin and other great music genres.

An immersive, imaginative way to get in touch with your inner self through a range of innovative, healing workshops - and the perfect physically and mentally relaxing way to de-stress and unwind after the overwhelming chaos of Christmas.

HOME workshop runs from 10am to 11.30am; HEART from 12.30pm to 2pm. Tickets cost £10 for each session and you can attend both or either workshop.
