Posted on: 31 Dec 2018Shappi Khorsandi is coming to Bristol Old Vic on Sunday 10th March as part of her Skittish Warrior tour.
The well-known comedian and author most famous for her live comedy is set to embark on the spring tour of her newest show Skittish Warrior…Confessions of a Club Comic.
The show will take the audience on a “warts and all journey of the 90s comedy scene to breaking through on telly, and then letting it all slip away”.
Don’t miss this unforgettable hour of “sharp-tongued gags, cultural observation and whatever else is in her easily distracted mind this time around”.
Shappi’s career has decades of impressive accolades. The early days included multiple TV appearances on shows like Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, and Friday Night with Jonathon Ross to name only a few. Known for her political involvement, she has also appeared on Question Time twice. In 2009, she published her memoir “A Beginner’s Guide to Acting English”. She regularly tours with live shows and is involved with charities and political work. More recently, she appeared on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
