Since these genius re-inventors and purveyors of milkshakes started way back in 1999, Shakeaway has gone from strength to strength and developed something of a (quite literally) cool, cult following over the years.
It's also remained the premiere spot for Bristolians seeking a milkshake with a difference and a twist, in all its sweet, delicious, multitudinous flavoursome combinations.
The menu has grown to boast more than 180 flavours and millions of taste and texture combinations. So, how about banana and passion fruit? Or fizzy pop shakes? Or how about a Ferrero Rocher shake? Or perhaps a Daim Bar milky incarnation?
Those, along with a list-as-long-as-your-arm combo of popular, tried and tested 'named shakes', real fruit smoothies and summer brainfreeze shakes, and what you have is a sacred place, a mecca, a shrine to all things cold, quirky, tasty and amazing.
And just to think it all started when someone livened up the humble milkshake by mixing a packet of Rolos with some milk and ice-cream, eh?
