Forget your Starbucks and other coffee bean-brandishing behemoths - for a taste of the good stuff from one of the city's best independent coffee houses, pop in to The Crazy Fox in Bristol's The Arcade.

Coffee, as we all know, has enjoyed something of a renaissance of recent years and there are plenty of places you can go to get your caffeine fix. But if you're looking for a barnstorming blend and rollicking roast for the tastiest espresso varieties, then The Crazy Fox is the go-to coffee emporium.

Don't just take our word for it though - true testament lies in the place itself which is usually packed out with throngs of coffee-craving office types and frantic shoppers looking for their caffeine hit to keep them going.

And besides the bean-based beverage, there's also a splendid range of food to get chomping on including sandwiches, wraps, soups and healthy salads and snacks.  Cakes? Well, of course; for what more perfect a pairing than a coffee and one of their scrumptious sweet slices?

Coffee's the main attraction here but they also knock up a mighty fine freshly-made range of juices and smoothies too.

Cool, friendly and buzzy (as well as being a great place to grab a seat and watch the world go by), The Crazy Fox is an independent coffee shop with a difference and definitely the place for a mid-shop pit-stop. Check it out.
