Poetry anthology book launch at The Golden Guinea on Wednesday 5th December 2018
Posted on: 04 Dec 2018Head to the FREE launch of new poem anthology, PLAY, tomorrow at The Golden Guinea! Meet its contributors and celebrate the collection in the comfort of The Guinea’s warm and welcoming surroundings.
The anthology, which was compiled by poets Simon Williams and Susan Taylor, was curated in memory of their grandson, who tragically lost his life in a car crash last year. All funds raised will contribute toward the building of a new memorial playground on Vire Island, Devon.

PLAY is the first of its kind; it’s a collection of poetry dedicated to fun activity. Celebrating sports, puppetry and more, the poems featured come from some of the UK’s most revered poets including Brian Patten and Carol Ann Duffy.
Meet both Simon and Susan, alongside many of the anthology’s contributors, in their anticipated book launch happening on Wednesday 5 December at The Golden Guinea. The launch will begin at 7:30 pm.
