Christmas at The Galleries in Broadmead and a chance to meet Santa!

Posted on: 22 Nov 2018

OK, so we might be only just nudging towards the end of November but Christmas for the city's whippersnappers (and plenty of its grown-ups, for that matter) can't come quickly enough - so Christmas at The Galleries, plus the chance to meet the season's favourite bearded purveyor of gifts, should satisfy all your eagerly anticipated festive needs.

Yep, from Saturday 24th November until Monday 24th December (or in other words, Christmas Eve), families will be able to meet Santa, his head Elf and two reindeer during their stay at one of the city's premiere shopping spots.

The reindeer duo might be animatronic (the prospect of two real ones in this day and age would surely send any self-righteous, health and safety, clipboard-carrying killjoy into paroxysms of panic), but Santa will be very much alive and real. You can enjoy a pic or two with them and learn a few interesting reindeer facts as well.

Young 'uns can also write a letter to Santa - have you been naughty or nice?! - and pop it in one of the four post boxes dotted around the shopping centre so the big white-bearded, rosy-cheeked, jolly man himself can read it when he arrives to spread his seasonal joy and festive merriment.
Santa will visit every Saturday and Sunday from 24th November until 16th December and every day from Thursday 20th December until Christmas Eve.

You can find our more about this and other news, events and offers on the horizon at The Galleries and Bristol Shopping Quarter here.
