Bristol-based national charity Penny Brohn has announced plans to bring together some of the most talented choirs in the Bristol and North Somerset areas this Christmas to raise funds for their essential work helping the thousands of people in the UK affected by cancer. A Night Before Christmas will take place on Friday 7th December, with tickets on sale now.

A Night Before Christmas will take place on Friday 7th December 2018.

Taking place at Clifton College Chapel, the festive fundraiser will feature performances from the Bristol Male Voice Choir, High Down Schools, The Voice of Hope and Wellbeing and UWE Gospel Choir, as well as Penny Brohn UK's own Community Choir.

The concert is open to anyone, with tickets priced at just £10 for adults and £6 for seniors and children. Doors will open on the night at 6.15pm, with the performance starting at 6.30pm and mulled wine, hot drinks, mince pies and more served during the interval. Ticket holders will also have the opportunity to win a luxury Christmas hamper and a homemade decorated Christmas cake.

Funds raised by the event will, as always, go towards assisting Penny Brohn UK in the essential work they do to care for people affected by cancer. With over 38 years’ experience, Penny Brohn UK recognise that people with cancer need more than medicine - their Bristol Whole Life Approach provides integrated whole person cancer support that works alongside medical treatment to achieve the best health and wellbeing.

Emma Gilmore, Head of Community and Challenge Events at Penny Brohn UK, said: “We are delighted to be back in the magnificent Clifton College Chapel for our Christmas concert this year and with so many talented singers. The choirs will perform classic carols and festive favourites during the evening. All the money raised will help us to support more people living with cancer to live as well as possible for as long as possible.”

Tickets to A Night Before Christmas at Clifton College Chapel on Friday 7th December are on sale now and can be found here. For more information on Penny Brohn or to find out how you can get involved with the charity, visit their website or check out their Facebook page.
