WooHah! - Bristol's only hip-hop chess night at The Arts House Cafe
Posted on: 10 Nov 2018Chess just got seriously cool: Bristol’s new hip-hop chess night is happening every third Tuesday of the month from 8pm at The Arts House Cafe Basement - get down and enjoy a relaxed game of chess with your mates with a soundtrack courtesy of some of the all-time greats of the golden era of hip-hop.
Behind a haze of hip-hop classics, chessboards will be available for a night of chilled gameplay, with all abilities welcome.
Whether you’re a chess novice or champion, bond with fellow players over a love of beats from the golden era of hip-hop, with tracks from the likes of Wu-Tang, Eric B & Rakim, KRS-One, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Mos Def and many more on rotation.
