New nail salon and beauty bar opens on Wapping Wharf
Posted on: 09 Nov 2018This weekend marks the opening of The Other Space; a brand-new nail salon, beauty bar and Wellness clubhouse at Wapping Wharf. Who’d have thought you’d cram so much - so elegantly - into one shipping container?!
The project, founded by the minds behind sister-company Loop Massage, aims to bring a boutique, multi-use space to the iconic cargos; dedicating their efforts toward diverse Wellness practices and locally-sourced, vegan products.
A neoteric, Scandi-esque setting, The Other Space studio aims to give every visitor the chance to truly define what Wellness means to them through a range of weekly, in-house practitioners and a unique collection of beauty products. Immersive treatment experiences, reflexology and tarot; the studio seems to be using its intimate space wisely.
On the weekend, The Other Space evolves into a nail bar using only cruelty and Phthalates-free polish. But you’ve got to be quick – I doubt appointment will be around for long.
Wapping Wharf is fast-becoming one of Bristol’s most cutting-edge areas, and The Other Space’s is yet another concept which will undoubtedly uphold this reputation.
