Mr Scruff will play all night long at Motion on Friday 30th November 2018.

Having been DJing since the mid-90s and producing for almost as long, they don't come much more committed than self-confessed music geek Mr Scruff when it comes to musical knowledge and passion for his craft. Often referred to by fellow artists as "the DJ's DJ", his trademark extended sets are a must-see for any underground music fan.

As well as endearing himself to his home crowd in Manchester with a monthly Keep It Unreal residency at Band on the Wall, Mr Scruff has formed a connection with Bristol crowds over the years, known to weave plenty of dub, reggae and trip-hop tracks into his sets in keeping with the Westcountry's unique taste. He's sure to squeeze plenty of variety into his all-night slot at Motion this month.

What makes a Mr Scruff set so special, though, is the expert pacing he keeps throughout. His unrivalled ability to manage energy levels and keep crowds in the palm of his hand for the duration of a set - whether it's a one-hour slot or a bumper six/seven/eight hour marathon - is what sets him apart from the rest, and it's part of the reason why he's got such a glowing reputation among musicians and music fans alike.

Tickets for Mr Scruff all night long at Motion on Friday 30th November are on sale now and can be found here. For more information on the event or to find out what else is scheduled for the remainder of the 2018 In:Motion series, check out their website.
