Fancy dress at the ready for Shalloween this Saturday at The Phoenix!

Posted on: 26 Oct 2018

With Halloween falling on a Wednesday this year (who's idea was that?), it's up to all of us to spook up the weekend and fit all of the occasion's festivities into Friday, Saturday and, those who can handle it, Sunday too. Make sure your main event is The Phoenix Pub's Shalloween party on Saturday night: a bumper night of fun and horror at one of Bristol's best pub venues!

Don't miss Shalloween this Saturday!

Hosted by Lucy ForFunn and DJ Jim Carna, Shalloween is set to be the biggest and best Halloween celebration in central Bristol! If you're a student living in Marketgate or Phoenix Court this party should be at the very top of your list - Shalloween is taking place at The Phoenix, right around the corner at Wellington Buildings.

Entry for this one is absolutely FREE, however the pub will be welcoming donations as they look to raise vital funds for Crisis Centre Ministries, a local homeless support organisation. Their Wild Goose drop-in centre provides homeless people with free hot meals, shower facilities, clothing and toiletries, so why not come along and donate to a good cause while you get your groove on this Halloween!

Fancy dress is an essential for this one - forget that Dracula cape you made out of a bin bag last year and dodge those Minion outfits in the bargain bin at Primark. The Shalloween team will be on the lookout for the best (worst) dressed throughout the night!

Entry for Shalloween at The Phoenix Pub on Saturday 27th October is free. The pub is located at Wellington Buildings, Bristol BS2 9DB - for more information or to find out how to get in touch with the organisers, check out the event's Facebook listing.
