Wheatus' full 2018 UK & Ireland tour.

Formed in 1995, Wheatus' early-2000s heyday saw them become one of the world's most recognisable bands, with hits like Teenage Dirtbag and A Little Respect gaining seemingly endless airplay on TV and radio.

Hailing from the lower east side of New York City, the band is currently made up of founder and lead vocalist Brendan B Brown, bassist Matthew Milligan, Karlie Bruce, Joey Slater and Gabrielle Sterbenz on backing vocals, Leo Friere on drums and Brandon Ticer on the keys. Over their 23-year lifespan, though, Wheatus has incorporated more than 20 other musicians for varying periods of time aside from the current crop.

Wheatus' self-titled 2000 album was certainly their most successful commercially, but they've gone on to put together a further four studio releases over the years, with The Valentine LP in 2013 representing the band's last full album. Catch them alongside celebrated alt-rockers, A, and InMe at SWX this November.

Tickets for Wheatus live at SWX on Saturday 17th November are on sale now and can be found here. For more information or to follow tour updates, visit the band's website or check out their Facebook page.
