The Church announce show at The Fleece as part of 2018 30th Anniversary tour

Posted on: 19 Oct 2018

Aussie paisley pioneers The Church have announced a UK leg of their 30th Anniversary Starfish Celebrations tour, with a Bristol show at The Fleece pencilled in for Tuesday 30th October. Tickets are on sale now and can be found via The Fleece's box office.

The Church will play live at The Fleece in October.

The much-loved psychedelic four-piece, playing in Bristol as part of a five-date UK tour, will be performing a selection of gems from their long and successful career, one which now spans an incredible 38 years and 26 full studio albums.

The band's list of hits and fan favourites is a long one, from Myrhh, to Ripple, The Unguarded Moment, almost anything from the 1982 album The Blurred Crusade, and the list goes on. All of these tracks and more are expected to be played live at The Fleece at the end of the month, making this an unmissable show for any and all Church fans in the area.

The show, however, is not just a nostalgia trip. The Church have been revitalised since 2014 with the addition of guitarist Ian Haug, formerly of another iconic Australian band, Powderfinger. Haug’s first outing with the band was on the acclaimed Further/Deeper, which yielded a new dynamic set-closer,  the infinitely psychedelic and earth-shaking Miami.

Tickets for The Church live at The Fleece on 30th October are on sale now and can be found here. For more information or to check out what else is coming up at The Fleece, head to their website.
