Robinson’s debut album Power In The Darkness was a huge hit: he played the album in its entirety across three sold-out shows at London’s 100 Club back in the 80s. To celebrate the LP’s 40th anniversary, Robinson is playing that very album once again across a major UK tour - and he’s coming to Bristol in just a few days!

Known widely for his activism, Robinson’s music has pushed critique on societal structures and bigotry, forging a fan base not only for his iconic sound but for his strength in the face of adversity.

Years on, Robinson has become a revered broadcaster on BBC Radio 6 and has co-written hits with the likes of Elton John and Peter Gabriel. He’s indeed an inspirational musician, and certainly not one to be missed. Supporting Robinson will be soul artist Lee Forsyth Griffiths.
