Salt Street to open pop-up kitchen at Steam Beer Hall, Whiteladies Rd

Posted on: 10 Oct 2018

The immensely popular Steam beer hall on Whiteladies Road in Clifton has just announced a partnership with Cuban sandwich connoisseurs Salt Street, and everyone's invited! Anybody in and around the Bristol area should be interested in this one - don't miss the opening party on Thursday 25th October with free food and drinks!

Salt Street's sandwiches are about as close as you're likely to get in Bristol to the authentic taste of Cuba.

The Salt Street kitchen is all about Cuban sandwiches, arguably the country's finest export (after their famous cigars, of course). The emphasis is on top-quality bread, toasted and filled with pickles, succulent meats and sharp cheeses, all served piping hot!

Despite the Cuban theme, Salt Street are proud to source their ingredients locally. Their current special, The Bronson Burger, combines fried chicken, marinara sauce and cheese to become the ultimate feel-good sandwich! The kitchen are also renowned for their tasty sides, from the fantastic Frickles (deep-fried, beer-battered pickles) and loaded skin-on fries.

Having just set up a short residency at Steam on Whiteladies Road, one of Bristol's best bar venues, the Salt Street team are buzzing to get started and show the Bristol public what they've got to offer. They've even gone as far as pairing specific Steam beers with their sandwich creations. Starting with an opening party on Thursday 25th October, check out the kitchen's opening times below:

Tuesday-Thursday: 5pm-9pm

Friday: 12pm-10pm

Saturday: 4pm-10pm

Steam Bristol is located at Clifton Down Station, Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2PN. For more information about the bar or their upcoming partnership with Salt Street, visit their website or follow updates on their Facebook page.
