Posted on: 01 Oct 2018

Here at 365Bristol, we're committed to making you aware of the best Bristol has to offer in terms of music, food and drink, days out and more. It'd be foolish of us not to shine a light on the best of the city's bustling nightlife scene, and so with the Club Highlights series we'll be providing you with a monthly list of the best club nights in Bristol, taking into account some of the best-known acts and venues as well as some you might never have heard of. Bristol clubs are set to welcome some of the hottest underground talent on the scene through their doors this month, including Romare for Dropout Disco's latest Lakota party, Munich-based house connoisseurs COEO for a midweek shindig at The Lanes and Annie Mac as she assembles an all-star cast as part of the 2018 In:Motion series. See below for details.

Hammer will play a midweek set at Lakota on Wednesday 3rd October.

Hammer @ Lakota, Wednesday 3rd October

Signed to Feel My Bicep, Hammer is a regular alongside heavyweight duo Bicep, regularly playing on the same programme at parties up and down the country. Real name Rory Hamilton, Hammer's collaborative EP with Bicep, titled 'Dahlia', was one of the biggest releases of 2015 and was a staple of UK raves for months. Check out Hammer's Boiler Room at AVA Festival here if you're still not convinced.

Drum & Bass party starters Hybrid Minds are set to bring their latest show to Bristol for the first time in October, with their Outline show set to welcome Inside Info, Articifical Intelligence and local DJ & producer Monrroe through the doors at Blue Mountain. Following a sellout b2b run at The Pickle Factory in London that firmly established the pair in the UK's DnB scene, Hybrid Minds are sure to light up your Wednesday night in this one. UPDATE: Hybrid Minds' Outline at Lakota is unfortunately SOLD OUT, but keep your eyes peeled for tickets going spare.

Timedance: The Final Chapter Part 1 @ The Island, Saturday 6th October

Timedance's Final Chapter kicks off at The Island this month.

After a three-year run of timeless parties in The Cells, the Timedance boys are calling time on their beloved events. In true style, the Bristol label has announced a three-part Final Chapter series, running in October, November and December, and certainly haven't skimped on the bookings. Part One welcomes Bruce to The Island as a headliner, backed up by Mun Sing and Sybil on Saturday 6th October. Don't miss it.

They're keeping standards high with their latest event, booking cut-and-paste maestro Romare as well as De School (Amsterdam) resident Carista and Ninja Tune's O'Flynn. If you're new to the city and don't know much about what you're looking for this weekend aside from an upbeat, carefree party, get yourself a ticket for this one.

Once the day's proceedings draw to a close, the Lakota complex is set to host the all-conquering Helena Hauff, electro maestro DJ Stingray, the Glasgow-based Optimo boys, Jane Fitz, Portuguese up-and-comer Mafalda, Bristol-based Em Williams and many more.
