Posted on: 28 Sep 2018Enjoy a family day out crammed with fabulous stalls, entertaining activities and cool music at Windmill Hill City Farm's Autumn Fair on Saturday 29th September 2018.
What better way to spend an autumn Saturday than at this always-popular city farm? With its environmentally-themed mix of recreation and education in conjunction with a lovely little cafe and, of course, a plethora of animals to explore, it's no small wonder why this place is constantly packed with happy families, curious little 'uns and delighted mums and dads.
Activities will include Indian head massage, instant Japanese pickle workshops and - wait for it - guess the weight of the marrow. There will be a market selling plenty of local produce and gifts including vegetables, homemade cakes, chocolates, children's books, vintage furniture and artwork, while you can get your groove on to music performed throughout the day by the likes of Charis Page, Brass Disciples, The Jesus Bolt and Polly Rorison. A BBQ and bar tops it all off nicely.
