Posted on: 10 Sep 2018So this year's Bristol Balloon Fiesta has come and gone, but folk with a penchant for those hot air-filled bags of airbourne wonder can revel in more balloon-based fun when Sky Safari returns to Longleat over the weekend of Friday 14th to Sunday 16th September 2018.
Promising to be bigger, better and more spectacular than before, the three-day event will see over 150 hot air balloons of all shapes, sizes and colours from around the globe soar through the skies for what will be the most awesome and impressive collection of balloons in the UK.
The introduction of new launch sites and viewing areas also means you'll be able to enjoy the brilliance and majesty of the balloons and get closer to them than ever before, affording some of the best, most breathtaking views you'll ever get of them on the ground and in the air.
And with 2017's Night Glow proving so popular, this year the venue will be putting on two spectacular displays for you to wow and marvel at, accompanied by an incredible soundtrack. So, with the combined attractions of Longleast House, the animals and the balloons, there's going to be more than enough to keep you busy and entertained throughout the entire weekend.
Special balloons to keep your peepers peeled for will include Tall Steve, Wes the Wold, Puddles, Splash, a donkey, an owl, everyone's confectionery fave Bertie Bassett, a balloon inspired by Disney's smash-hit movie Up, and so many more incredible balloon-based creations it's impossible to list them all here.
This being good ol' Blighty, the weather can be unpredictable at best and ballooning is a very weather-dependent activity so it's possible some of the displays might be subject to time alterations or possible cancellations.
