Smash-hit musical Jersey Boys is back in Bristol this autumn between Tuesday, 30th October to Saturday, 17th November.

A humble story about four boys from the wrong side of tracks who become one of pop history’s most successful acts has been awarded an Olivier Award for Best New Musical alongside 56 other major awards worldwide, and now Bristol has the chance to grab a piece of the action.

Making it’s a much-anticipated return to The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday, October 30 to Saturday, November 17, the show begins warming up its all-star lineup. 

 

The producers have announced that Michael Watson will be playing Frankie Valli, Simon Bailey will be Tommy De Vito, Declan Egan will be Bob Gaudio, and Lewis Griffiths will be Nick Massi.  
 

Michael, Simon, Declan and, Lewis have all previously performed their roles in Jersey Boys to great acclaim: Michael and Simon in the West End, Declan in the West End and Australia, and Lewis in the first UK and Ireland tour. Dayle Hodge will return to the production to play Frankie Valli at certain performances. 

 

As well as Jersey Boys, the protagonists have all played huge parts in previous West End productions, and prove to be quite the performative spectacle. Michael Watson made his West End debut in We Will Rock You and was also in the original London casts of Imagine This, Sister Act and Shrek the Musical, while Dayle Hodge has appeared in Les Misérables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Scrooge. 

 

Having already seen over 25 million people worldwide, the people of Bristol now have the chance to see this fantastic show alongside all of the hits including Beggin’, Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night) and, Big Girls Don’t Cry. 

 

Please note Jersey Boys contains genuine New Jersey language which may not be suitable for younger audiences - parental guidance advised. Latecomers will not be admitted into the auditorium until an appropriate point in the performance, which is approximately 15 minutes in. Tickets range from £22 to £68 including booking fees!
