Bristol's budding performers will get the chance to show off their talent and perhaps see their dreams come true as Open Mic UK comes to Bristol and takes place at SouthBank Club Studio on Saturday 15th September 2018.

Don't miss the chance to see if you've got what it takes - you might regret it!

The go-to gig for the very best of the region's unsigned acts, auditions will be held from 12pm to 2.30pm with categories covering Under 16s, 16-20, 21 and over and Songwriters.

It doesn't matter what you're good at, now's your chance to shine and take the spotlight whether you're a singer, songwriter, rapper or vocal group for a talent scouting contest that attracts more than 10,000 unsigned acts every year across the UK.  Previous winners include X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan, Country singer Megan McKenna and Union J member Jaymi Hensley.

You'll perform in front of a panel of expert industry judges and get the benefit of their wise words and constructive feedback. The winner, however, will claim the true, unbridled glory of being able to record their debut album and music video and all the promotional razzmatazz that goes with it, potentially launching them into the high-profile performing stratosphere.

What you choose to perform is entirely up to you, be it cover versions or original songs, encompassing the gamut of R&B, pop, acoustic or classic, and successful audition acts will go through to the Regional Final Showcase and the invaluable opportunity to perform live at many of the country's best venues.

Regional finalists will then go on to the Open Mic UK National Grand Final, held at London's Indigo at O2, with the final leg of the competition seeing finalists performing in front of a live audience, celebrity guests and judges from such legendary music powerhouses as Sony and Universal Music.

Tickets to take part for what could potentially be a life-changing experience cost £5 and can be purchased here. Follow the same link to the official Open Mic UK website for more information on the organisation or further details on the Bristol event.
