Showing no signs of slowing down in 2018, Causon and Gifford have already worked on a number of collaborative projects between them alongside their growing solo repertoires. They started the year on a high with a live session at the BBC's famous Maida Vale Studios in January before going on to play a number of small live shows at venues around Bristol and London.

Two of the tracks on the forthcoming EP, Worn You and Branches, have already been released by the pair online to widespread critical acclaim, with both receiving airplay from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and Radio 1 Prague as well as being included on Burberry's Emerging British Talent list and Radio 1's Introducing Track of the Week playlists on both Apple Music and Spotify.

The brand-new title track, Murphy's Hand, offers an interesting riff on a phoneless friend's comments on the lack of true connection in an increasingly technocentric society. Heartache-fuelled Dose, on the other hand, presents a jarring electronic soundscape that explores an almost barren, dream-like state.

Harvey Causon, Gabriel Gifford and Ben Toon will be playing three live shows in October.

Performing as a trio with drummer Ben Toon, Harvey Causon and co. have already enjoyed a busy and successful Summer of live shows, performing at All Points East in London, The Great Escape, Nozstock and Bristol's famous Harbour Festival, headlining Thekla on Sunday evening. As well as a host of festival appearances, they've also supported the likes of Loyle Carner, Puma Blue and Tokio Myers at sold-out shows across Bristol.

You can still catch Harvey Causon live at a number of festivals throughout the rest of the Summer, including Fieldview, Valley Festival, Soul Circus and Knee Deep. You can also see him perform alongside Gabriel Gifford and Ben Toon on Bristol stages in September and October, at The Downs Festival (1st September) or at their headline show at The Louisiana on 27th October.
