August 2018 highlights at The Fleece

Hosting a huge range of events from Hip-Hop to Dub, student nights to discos, they've got it all. Gaining huge support from the public in its fight to stay open recently, The Fleece is one of the city's favourite venues and rewards the adoration with a lineup full of your favourites - see below for this month's highlights, including American rapper and producer Bishop Nehru, a special Stone Roses edition of the popular Supersonic night and more.
Bishop Nehru, Monday 6th August
Real name Markel Scott, Bishop Nehru is known in the US as a rapper, producer and music video director. Hailed as a breath of fresh air in the modern hip-hop scene, he has been producing and performing since the tender age of 13. Nehru is set to play The Fleece for a second time this month following a 2017 performance. This one is a must-see for any and all Bristol hip-hop fans!
Oas-is, Saturday 18th August
Renowned up and down the country as the best Oasis tribute band on the road today, Oas-is are all set to bring their accomplished show to a Bristol audience with a weekend gig at The Fleece. The five Oasis fanatics live and breathe Manchester's finest and are dedicated to bringing you the best look and sound that you could possibly expect from a tribute to the legendary band.
Supersonic Stone Roses Special, Friday 24th August
The Fleece's wildly popular Supersonic night returns on Friday 24th with a very special Stone Roses edition! The Supersonic DJs will be playing some of The Roses' best-loved tracks throughout the night, including 'Fool's Gold', 'I Wanna Be Adored', 'Waterfall' and many more, as well as all the best tunes from one of the greatest eras of British music from bands like Oasis, The Verve, Happy Mondays, Blur and more!
Special Kinda Madness, Sunday 26th August
Love Madness? Love The Specials? Then you'll love Special Kinda Madness - the UK's only combined Madness/The Specials tribute act! The group have been playing at various venues across the South of England throughout 2018, turning heads and winning fans at every stop. Expect all the best tracks from both legendary acts, including 'Our House', 'It Must Be Love', 'A Message To You, Rudy' and many more. Tickets for this one are running low so act now to avoid missing out!
