Camping available at Bristol Balloon Fiesta for the first time
Posted on: 31 Jul 2018Can’t get enough of Bristol’s International Balloon Fiesta? Why not stay the night – or the whole weekend? As Europe's biggest ballooning festival returns for its 40th year, on-site camping for the event has been added for the very first time, complete with the newly launched Motorhome & Caravan Show.
As well as the rare chance to stay within the grounds of the Ashton Court Estate, on-site camping will give visitors quick event-access alongside entry into exciting showcases such as the popular Nightglow, Firework Finale and, the recently launched Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show.
The Bristol Motorhome & Caravan Show will feature a range of camping suppliers and leading motorhome and caravan dealers including Southwest Motorhomes, Cadac, iKamper and many more. Alongside this, there is also a chance to get your hands on Hyundai KONA and a Swift Basecamp crossover camping vehicle (CCV) worth £34,000 at the Camping & Caravanning Club stand. To go with, the lucky winner will receive a year’s free membership to The Camping and Caravanning Club and a towing course for beginners. More information can be found on the Show website.
Richard Milbourn, Event Director of the new show, said, “The Balloon Fiesta is an amazing spectacle and our show will provide lots of interest and entertainment between balloon flights for the huge audience descending on Ashton Court Estate. The International Balloon Fiesta is happening 9th - 12th August 2018 at Ashton Court Estate, Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9JN. Entry to the Balloon Fiesta and the Motorhome & Caravan Show are free, but onsite parking will be charged.
