Details on the 2018 Bristol Walk For Parkinson's.

The walk, which commences at 11am on Sunday 30th September, is open to all and encourages all those who take part to raise as much money as they can to support Parkinson's UK in the essential work they do to treat sufferers and research potential cures.

All walkers are encouraged to raise £50 in sponsorship for the charity, and upon signing up will receive a Walk For Parkinson's t-shirt, fundraising advice and a fundraising pack, support with training and a finisher's medal.

Dogs on leads are also welcome on the walk, however dog owners are urged to be considerate of wildlife and other walkers during the event. There are two route options on the day, one 1.2 miles long and one 4 miles.

Parkinson's UK are here for life beyond diagnosis. They're on a mission to support people, change attitudes and, ultimately, find a cure. Together with the help of the British public, Parkinson's UK are working to bring forward the day when no one fears the disease.

Registration for the Parkinson's UK Walk For Parkinson's closes one week before the walk, on Sunday 24th September 2018. For more information on the event, head to the charity's website or check out their Facebook page.
