Enjoy an evening stroll getting up close and personal with some of the city's most interesting nocturnal residents as part of the Bat and Moth Night Walk, which takes place at the Downs in Bristol on Friday 20th July 2018.

Running in conjunction with Avon Bat Group, Bristol & District Moth Group and the Friends of the Downs and Avon Gorge, this amble along one the city's most expansive, beautiful and, when darkness falls, place of most fascinating late night inhabitants will be a thrill for bat and moth enthusiasts.

You'll be in safe, knowledgeable hands too, as experts Ray Barnett, David Brown and Kay Snowdon will be on hand to guide you around the Downs pointing out and explaining the various species of its nightly incumbents.

The event will run from 9.30pm to 11.30pm and costs £5. You can book with Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project, at Bristol Zoo, on 0117 9030609, or alternatively e-mail them at mleivers@bristolzoo.org.uk.

The Downs is located at Stoke Rd, Bristol, BS9 1FG.  Tel. 0117 9030609
