Bristol Aquarium will be hosting The Festival of Fishes from Saturday 21st July to Sunday 2nd September 2018.

The Festival of Fishes at Bristol Aquarium

Just in time for the summer holidays and a fantastic festival for all the family, this one of a kind celebration of those gill-bearing aquatic craniates will wow, inform and entertain in equal measure.

What lurks beneath the deep blue briny? Well, now you'll be able to find out and immerse (or should that be submerge?) yourself in the watery depths of these weird, wonderful, often colourful and characterful creatures.

There will be a main stage, an entertaining cornucopia of hands-on activities, a rock pool, and the chance (if you're brave enough) to touch some real shark's teeth. Plenty of traditional festival games will also give you plenty to do, and if you get a bit peckish you can head to picnic area to fill up some fine food.

A smorgasbord of themed weekends (all included in the price of the usual Aquarium admission) will take place at the venue for this fabulous family-friendly event. Just don't forget to keep your beady out for Charlie the Clownfish, the Aquarium's official mascot, who can help to feed the fishes.

The Festival of Fishes will take place from 10am to 6pm during the festival's entire run. You can find out more about this and other fin-tastic (ha!) events at The Bristol Aquarium website at www.bristolaquarium.co.uk.

Bristol Aquarium is located at Anchor Road, Bristol, BS1 5TT.  Tel. 0117 929 8929
