If you are looking for pubs to watch the Saturday fixtures in here are some of our recommended venues:
Steam Bristol is a pub located next to Clifton Down Railway Station, just off Whiteladies Road. It's a welcoming pub serving a great range of drinks from their cosy beer hall and alfresco outside area. Steam boasts a table tennis room, foosball, free WiFi and show all major sporting events throughout the year on multiple big screens. They've also got another pub inside called Shebeen - the best Irish nook in the city - and a big screen both outdoor and in to watch all the games.
The Crown - 10 All Saints Ln, Avon, Bristol BS1 1JH
Occupying the same site since 1741, The Crown is a real ale pub and cider house with an edge. This superb venue blends the traditional with the alternative to create one of Bristol’s must-visit locations. Whether you’re looking for drinks, food or great music, you’ll find it at The Crown. Sporting events are fully taken care of, with eight screens showing Sky Sports and BT Sports.
The Cider Press - 86-90 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8BN
Located on Gloucester Road, The Cider Press boasts cheap drinks, a load of big screen TVs for one of the best sporting experiences in the area. All the rugby fixtures will be televised here, see their Sporting Fixture List here for more information.
The Anchor - 323 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8PE
Another Gloucester Road favourite, The Anchor is located in the Bishopston area and is hugely popular among students. With huge TV screens situated throughout the pub as well as a full projector screen, there's no shortage of vantage points for you to watch your side get one over on their opponents.
