Transend Skate Park at Tropicana from Saturday 26th May to Friday 1st June 2018
Posted on: 25 May 2018C'mon, skater boys and gals - now's your chance to have some skate, scooter and BMX-based fun at Tropicana's Transend Skate Park, which kicks off for a week of action and activities from Saturday26th May to Friday 1st June 2018.
There's plenty to enjoy too, with drop-in sessions for you to hone your skating skills, just chill out, or game on PS4 and Xbox. Also thrown in will be a range of free craft workshops and plenty of tasty food and thirst-quenching refreshments.
A community of passionate skaters, those fabulous folk at Transend have put the old, once abandoned and neglected Tropicana to good use once again and revived it for the benefit of like-minded enthusiasts and the area as a whole. Good on 'em.
Daily, the sessions will run roughly as follows:
9:00am-10:00am: 7 & under skate & scooter session (£3.00)
10:15am-11:15am: 8 to 11 yrs scooters only (£3.00)
11:30am-12:30pm: 12 yrs and over (£3.00)
12:45pm-1:45pm: 7 & under skate & scooter (£3.00)
2:00pm-4:00pm: 8 yrs to 11 yrs (£4.00)
4:15pm-6:15pm: 12 yrs and over (£4.00)
7:00pm-9:00pm: 12 yrs and over (No beginners) (£4.00)
