Beloved Bristol funnyman Mark Olver has partnered with locally-based cancer charity Penny Brohn and Bristol-based pie aficionados Pieminister to bring you a marquee performance at Penny Brohn's national centre on Sunday 20th May. Tickets for the event are still available at just £12 - head to Penny Brohn's website to book yours now.

Comedian Mark Olver has previously starred on hit shows Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.

The full lineup of performers at this year's event is yet to be announced, but rest assured that Mark Olver has got more than enough established contacts to be able to pull together a lineup worthy of any comedy stage.

Having previously starred in hit shows Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Mark Olver is a Bristol favourite and is quickly winning fans up and down the country. Having started out in standup back in 1998, he has since performed alongside the likes of Russell Howard, Jon Richardson, Jimmy Carr and more.

The comedy event will run from 7.15pm -10.30pm and includes a cash bar, an array of delicious Pieminister pies and a raffle. Tickets are strictly for over-16's on the night.

Emma Gilmore, Head of Community Events at Penny Brohn, said "we're grateful to Mark for rallying some of his best in the business and thank Pieminister for pledging plenty of pies! Every penny raised will help Penny Brohn raise the £2.5 million needed annually to continue to help people live as well as possible for as long as possible, before, during and after treatment".

Penny Brohn's previous comedy nights have been sell-out events, so act now and book your tickets to avoid missing out on one of the most anticipated comedy gigs in the Bristol calendar!

Tickets for Penny Brohn's charity comedy event are priced at £12 and can be found here. For more information or to get in touch with the organisers, visit Penny Brohn's website or call 0303 3000 118.
