The nine-date tour, which will also see Hughes and Jones touch down in Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester and London, promises to be a dynamic, energetic extravaganza, paying homage to his tenure with the legendary Deep Purple. One of the most influential rock groups in history, Deep Purple are considered by many to be one of few pioneering groups of heavy metal and hard rock.

Glenn Hughes will be joined by Laurence Jones for his live shows in October 2018.

Regarded as the future of modern blues music, Laurence Jones has picked up several awards and accolades in his short career, selling over 50,000 albums in the process. He's been named as one to watch by personalities at all levels of the music industry, including booking agents, old school blues fans and a string of active musicians. With his new album, The Truth, he has started to really come into his own, writing and performing songs that are entirely unique to his own identity.

Asked about the announcement, Laurence said "It's an honour to be the special guest with Glenn Hughes on his tour this October. He's such an icon and a hugely talented musician".

Tickets for Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live with Laurence Jones are on sale now, priced at £27.50. For more information on the show, visit Glenn Hughes' official website or check out his Facebook page.
