Pizza Run Bristol on Saturday 9th June 2018

Posted on: 02 May 2018

Running and pizza combine for the first-ever Pizza Bristol Run which takes place in the city on Saturday 9th June 2018.

It doesn't matter whether you're partial to a pepperoni or nuts about a Neopolitan, the event is all in the spirit of fun (and food) that merges a good ol' sprint with one of the nation's favourite culinary indulgences.

The 5k run kicks off at Eastville Park. After you've set off and worked up a bit of an appetite you'll be served with slices of pizza en route, which you can either chomp on during or run or save until afterwards.

Following on from the run a DJ will be spinning some tunes as you get the chance to mix with the other runners, and you can have a special squad photo taken to take away and cherish forever.

The event is open to everyone of all ages, abilities and backgrounds and, unlike many runs, isn't timed so there's no pressure to be the first to finish (or hang your head in ignominious shame if you're last). Pizza-themed medals will also be, erm, dished out after the run too. To further liven up the fun quota, fancy dress is being positively encouraged.

If you sign up, entry will include the race itself, 2 slices of lip-smackingly tasty pizza, Pizza Run UK finishers medal, special prizes for top finishers, and entry to the topping-tastic after party.
