Posted on: 27 Apr 2018CrimeFest - a convention for the city's avid crime novel enthusiasts - takes place at Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th May 2018.
The event first took place in 2008 and has gone on to become one of the most poplar and biggest crime fiction events in Europe. Voted one of 'the 50 Best Festivals' by The Independent and one of 'the best crime writing festivals around the world' by The Guardian, the event is a big draw for many of the genre's most influential and revered crime novelists, editors, publishers and reviewers from across the globe.
Notable highlights over the weekend will include a stalwart range of guest authors (Martina Cole, Jefferey Deaver), more than forty panels featuring over a 100 participating authors, a grandiose gala dinner, a presentation of the CrimeFest Awards, and a few nice little surprises thrown in for good measure.
