cLuMsY & Captain Hotknives at Mr Wolf's on Friday 27th April 2018

You'll be howling with pleasure this Friday 27th April 2018 at the legendary Mr Wolf's when the venue hosts a double-whammy of top musical talent in the shape of cLuMsY and Captain Hotknives.

A dynamic 6-piece Reggae Fusion band, cLuMsy is an ensemble carving out a big name for themselves and are in-demand on the current live gig scene, crafting a wonderfully unique sound which blends toe-tapping tunes with soulful vocals and edgy lyrics.

Captain Hotknives, however, is an entirely different kettle of musical fish, happily unencumbered and irreverently unaffected by such things as making words rhyme or even being able to sing. His idiosyncratic approach tackles difficult subjects such as solvent abuse and begging, with some pigeon hypnosis and "skankin yr nana" (his words, not mine) thrown in for good measure.

Two more diametrically opposed musical approaches you could not ask for but, if nothing else, it's certainly going to be one of the most interesting and unorthodox combos of musical styles clumped together for an evening of top entertainment at one of Bristol's best-loved music hotspots.

Doors swing open from 9pm and tickets cost £3/£4.

You can keep up to date with all the other music, club and open mic shenanigans going on at Mr Wolf's here.

Mr Wolf's is located at: 32 St Nicholas St, Bristol, BS1 1TG. Tel. 0117 929 0897
