The Cheese & Chilli Festival comes to the South West this summer

Turn up the heat and head along to The Cheese & Chilli Festival this summer. The festival returns to Swindon from 7th - 8th July and comes to Cheltenham for the first time from 4th - 5th August.

The Cheese & Chilli Festival

At the Cheese & Chilli Festival there is something for everyone with live music, falconry displays as well as Punch & Judy shows, magic and balloon modelling for the children. There will be fabulous real ales from one or more local microbreweries as well as stalls selling everything from knives and cheese boards to crafts and gifts.

Love cheese? At The Cheese & Chilli Festival you’ll be able to talk with local suppliers, taste a broad range of local and artisan cheeses as well as purchase some to take away and eat later.

Love chilli? With a range of demonstrations and talks at The Cheese & Chilli Festival you’ll be able to learn how to grow your own chilli plant as well as learning how to use them in your own recipes. You’ll also be able to buy a range of chilli products from plants to chilli sauces. In addition, you’ll also be one of many visitors judging the Chilli Sauce Competition - an award ceremony will be held just before close on Sunday.

Festival highlights include Man V Food Challenge with foot-long fire hot dog and the side-splittingly funny Chilli Eating Competition. In Cheltenham you’ll also have the opportunity to cheer on your favourite pig in the rare breeds pig racing!

The Cheese & Chilli Festival in Swindon supports the Haven Breast Cancer Centre who offer support to anyone affected by breast cancer. In Cheltenham The Cheese & Chilli Festival supports Marie Curie who offer emotional and practical support to those diagnosed with a terminal illness.

Including booking fee a day ticket costs just £6.30 for adults (£8 on the gate) and £4.20 for seniors (£6 on the gate). Children go free!

If you can’t make the Swindon or Cheltenham event The Cheese & Chilli Festival will also be visiting Christchurch, Basingstoke, Guildford and Winchester.
