Bristol Walk Fest from Tuesday 1st to Thursday 31st May 2018Posted on: 13 Apr 2018
Walking. I've always said it's the best form of exercise you can get. And it seems there are plenty of others across the city who agree too, and those hardened, keen walkers will be able to slip on their sturdy trekking shoes to take part in Bristol Walk Fest, which runs from Tuesday 1st to Thursday 31st May 2018.
A month-long celebration of walking and walks across the length and breadth of Bristol, the event is now in its sixth year. Previous Walk Fests have attracted more than 500 enthusiastic ramblers from the city and further afield, giving them plenty of opportunity to take part in a glut of great yomping, leg muscle-building activities such as urban exploring, walking sports, history trails, serene park strolls and more energetic uphill hikes.
Ineffectual, pointless gym membership? Pah! Get rid of it. Walking is the best and arguably only exercise you need to stay fit, trim, in shape and in tip-top, refreshingly healthy condition.
